 Kassem Board Member in ACTIF

Mohamed Kassem was elected on board of ACTIF (African Cotton & Textile Industries Federation). Kassem was the previous president for the Apparel Export Council in Egypt. Kassem was recently elected in his late visit to Mauritius last September to attend a meeting for the federation.

Under the umbrella of ACTIF, there are 17 member countries (Botswana, Egypt, Ethiopia, Kenya, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Sudan, Swaziland, Tanzania, Uganda, Zimbabwe and Zambia) .

ACTIF aims in representing African investors in all aspects of the textile industry and support in the development of African textile industry and raising export potentials.
