Next December the 2nd, the activities of the second part of the Egy Stitch & Tex exhibition of clothing manufacturing machines

As part of achieving the new republic's goal of $100 billion in exports; Next December the 2nd, the activities of the second part (the 12th edition) of the Egy Stitch & Tex exhibition of clothing manufacturing machines (sewing, embroidery, printing on clothes) and their accessories will be launched

Under the auspices of the Ministry of Trade and Industry, Egy Stitch & Tex, the largest and most important international exhibition in the development of the textile and ready-made garments industry in the Middle East and Africa, is preparing to launch the second part of its activities of its 12th edition at the Cairo International Convention Center. It is scheduled to be held from 2nd to 5th December 2021, and it is the part that specializes in serving the garment industry sector covering sewing, embroidery and printing on clothes and its accessories.

With the support of the Export Council for Ready-made Garments, a number of agents and manufacturers of machines specialized in sewing, embroidery and printing on clothes are participating in the second part of the exhibition, as part of Egypt’s strategy and plan to support the state’s exports of ready-made clothes.

In this context, Wael El-Kady, a member of the Board of Directors of Vision Fairs, said: “The second part of the “Egy Stitch & Tex” exhibition is concerned with serving the clothing industry sector, and related sewing, embroidery, printing on clothing and its accessories, stressing that the second part of the exhibition aims to achieve the state’s strategy and plan to implement the $100 billion export initiative in order to revitalize the sector and support Egypt’s exports of ready-made garments.

El-Kady also added: “The first part of the exhibition witnessed great success due to the variety of machines that were presented to the participants and visitors of the exhibition, explaining that the second part will create a great opportunity to learn about technological and industrial innovations and the technological development of machines, providing opportunities for cooperation, establishing business partnerships and communicating directly with thousands of professionals and high-class visitors from Egypt and the most promising markets of the Middle East.”

 El Kady finally stated that: “The second part (the 12th edition) of the “Egy Stitch & Tex” exhibition is to be attended by more than 300 companies and international brands specialized in the field of clothing and embroidery machines worldwide with up to 20 thousand visitors from Egypt, the Middle East and Africa.”

For his part, Haitham Rady, the exhibition director, said that: “The 12th edition of the “Egy Stitch & Tex” exhibition aims to identify sources for obtaining the technology of the ready-made garment industry, which is witnessing major technological booms in the Middle East and Africa, in order to increase the volume of its business, and hence achieving exceptional sales and opening export channels to the world.”

Rady explained that: “The Egy Stitch and Tex exhibition is one of the most important events that succeed in attracting many companies, in addition to visiting industry specialists and experts in manufacturing technologies.”

It is worth noting that the first part of the “Egy Stitch & Tex” exhibition was launched on the 14th of October 2021 and continued until the 17th of October 2021 under the patronage of the Minister of Industry and Trade and with the participation of more than 250 specialized international companies representing 24 Arab and foreign countries, and was specialized in serving the textile sectors covering dyeing, finishing and printing technology on fabrics, chemicals and their accessories.

Fifteen thousand visitors attended the exhibition during the four days with a delegation from Africa being the highlight of the exhibition who attended as buyers of spinning and weaving machines in order to develop their factories and learn about the latest technologies
